மாற்றுவெளி கோலின் மக்கன்சியைப் பற்றிய ஒரு சிறப்பிதழைக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளது. மிக விஷய பூர்வமான கட்டுரைகளைத் தாங்கிய இதழ். ராணுவ அதிகாரியாக பணிபுரிந்துகொண்டே காலின் மக்கன்சி பக்கவாட்டில் செய்த காரியங்கள் மிக முக்கியமானவை. அழிந்து போகும் நிலையிலிருந்த ஓலைச் சுவடிகளைச் சேகரித்தார். வம்ச வரலாறுகளைப் பதிவு செய்தார்.கல்வெட்டுகளைப் படி எடுத்தார். வாய்மொழிக் கதைகளை பதிவு செய்தார். அவை மட்டுமல்ல கோவில்களை மனிதர்களை என்று அந்தக் காலத்தை ஓவியங்களில் பதிவு செய்ய முயன்றார். இன்றைக்கும் அவரது சேகரம் முழுக்க ஆராயப்படாமல் கீழ்த்திசை சுவடி நூலகத்தில் தேங்கிக் கிடக்கிறது
