தமிழீழம் ஏன் மலர வேண்டும்? எனக்குத் தோன்றிய தலை பத்து காரணம்:
1. வாக்குரிமை: எனக்கு விடுதலைப் புலி தலைவர் மேதகு வேலுப்பிள்ளை பிரபாகரன் தன் பிறந்தநாளை ‘மாவீரர் நாள்’ என்று கொண்டாடி கோலோச்சுவது பிடிக்கவில்லை. ஈழத்திற்கு சுதந்திரம் கிடைத்தால் மட்டுமே இந்த தனி மனித கொடுங்கோல் ஆட்சி ஓயும். எனவே, தமிழ் ஈழ விடுதலை வேண்டும்.
2. குடியுரிமை: புத்தம் கால்மிதிப்பதற்கு முன்பே அங்கே வசிக்கும் தமிழர், தங்கள் சொந்த நாட்டில் இன்னும் எத்தனை காலம்தான் மிதிபட்டு, ஷெல்லடிபட்டு, ஊர் மாற்றப்பட்டு வாழ வகையில்லாமல் இருப்பார்கள்? கொஸோவோ போல் சைப்ரஸ் போல் தனி நாடு பகிர்வு மட்டுமே தீர்வு.
3. சிங்களத்தவருக்கே இலங்கை: பால்ய வயதில் இருந்து இந்தியரிடம் பாகிஸ்தான் மேல் வெறுப்பைத் தூண்டிவிட்டு வளர்ப்பது போல், சிங்களம் ‘தமிழரால்தான் உனக்குத் தாழ்வு’ என்னும் பிரச்சாரத்தின் மூழ்கடிப்பில் வளர்க்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த நிலையில் பெரும்பான்மை சிலோனியருக்கு தமிழருடன் கூட்டுக்குடித்தனம் சாத்தியப்படாத மனப்பான்மையில், தனித்து ஒதுங்கி சுயராஜ்ஜியம் அமைத்து வெட்டிவிடுவதே பொருத்தம்.
4. பொறுப்புரிமை: ராஜீவ் கொலையானதற்கு விடுதலைப் புலிகளும் பிரபாகரனும் காரணம் என்றால், அவர்கள் மேல் படையெடுக்க முடியாத மாதிரி இந்தியாவின் நட்பு நாடான இலங்கையில் பதுங்கி இருக்கிறார்கள். சுதந்திர நாட்டின் தலைவராக இருந்தாலாவது, நேரடியாக பிரபாகரனைத் தாக்கலாம்; குற்றவாளிக் கூண்டில் நிறுத்தலாம்.
5. கையறு நிலை: தமிழருக்காகப் போராடிய புலிகளும் க்ஷீரண தசையில் சஞ்சரிக்க, குடிமக்களைக் காப்பாற்றும் பொறுப்பில் இருக்கும் அரசாங்கமும் அவர்களின் தலை பார்த்து குண்டு போட்டு தாக்குதல் தொடரும் இந்த க்ஷணத்தில் ஐக்கிய நாடு தலையிட்டு அமெரிக்கா ஆணையிட்டு குட்டி தாய்வானையோ, மினி ஜப்பானோ உருவாக்காவிட்டால், அடுத்த தற்கொலை தீவிரவாதி உற்பத்தி கேந்திரமாக மாறும் நிலை.
6. சாணக்கியத்தனம்: சுதந்திர நாட்டிற்காக போராடிக் கொண்டிருந்த விடுதலைப் புலி கிட்டத்தட்ட முற்றிலுமாக ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட இன்றைய நிலையில், ஈழ மக்களுக்கு முழு விடுதலை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் அவர்களின் நூற்றாண்டு கால கோரிக்கையை பூர்த்தி செய்யலாம். துவக்கத்தில் இலங்கையின் இன்றைய அரசை அனுசரிக்கும் ஆட்சியையே அமர்த்தலாம். இது இந்தியாவிற்கு பங்களாதேஷ் போல் பின்னடைவு ஏற்படுத்துவதும் ஏற்படாமலிருப்பதும் ராஜபக்சேவின் சமர்த்து.
7. தற்கொலை தாக்குதலுக்கு சாவுமணி: புலிகளும் பிரபாகரனும் லேசுப்பட்டவரில்லை. மனித வெடிகுண்டுகள், இறுதிகட்ட விமானத் தாக்குதல், கண்ணிவெடிப்பு என்று கொழும்புவில் ஆரம்பித்து கிரிக்கெட் வரை பல்முனையில் படுத்தி ஸ்ரீலங்காவை ஸ்தம்பிக்க வைக்கும் சகல வல்லமையும் கொண்டவர்கள். ராஜபக்சேவுக்கும் பொன்சகாவிற்கும் நல்ல சாவு கிடையாது; எனினும், ஈழத்து சிறுவர் இந்த மாதிரி முளைச்சலவை ஆகாமல், ஆதரவற்ற தமிழர்களை தன் பக்கம் ஈர்ப்பதற்கு இப்போதைய விடுதலை ஸ்டன்ட் உதவும்.
8. வெளிநாட்டுத் தமிழர் ஆதரவு: புகலிடம் போன ஈழத்தமிழரும் அயலகத்தில் பணிபுரியும் இன்ன பிறரும் தாயகத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சி மலரும் எண்ணும் நம்பிக்கையிலோ, விடுதலைப் புலியின் மிரட்டலுக்கு பயந்தோ, தான் மட்டும் தப்பித்துக் கொண்ட குற்றவுணர்ச்சிக்கு பலியாகியோ பிரபாகரனுக்கு கிஸ்தி கொடுத்து வருவது நிற்கும். அதிகாரபூர்வ என்.ஜி.ஓக்களும் தொண்டு நிறுவனமும் இயங்கத் துவங்கும். வெளிப்படையான பொக்கீடு தாக்கல் செய்யும் சுதந்திர நாட்டில் ஊழல் செய்தாலும் அதை வெளிக்கொணரும் தைரியமிக்க ஊடகங்களும் அரசு சக்கரத்தை முடுக்கிவிடும்.
9. என்ன குறைந்து போகும்? ஏற்கனவே தனி நாடாக எல்.டி.டி.ஈ செயல்பட்டு வந்தது. வன்னியில் இருந்து வரியும் வராத நிலையில் படைபலத்திற்காக பணத்தை இழப்பது நிற்கும். உலக அரங்கில் இலங்கையின் மதிப்பு உயர்ந்து சுற்றுலா வருவாய் பெருகவும், தெற்காசிய சூழலில் பாகிஸ்தான் / இந்தியா / சீனாக்களுடன் பேரம் பேசி வர்த்தகத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கவும் தனி ஈழம் உதவும். ஈழத்தை இப்பொழுது பிரித்து விடுவதால் நஷ்டங்களை விட லாபமே நிகரம்.
10. மனிதம்: அமலா மாதிரியோ மனேகா காந்தி மாதிரியோ மிருகநலம் பேண வேண்டாம். பாரம்பரிய கிறித்துவ போதகர் பாதையில் பதின்ம வயது கர்ப்பிணிகளுக்கு சிசேரியன் பார்க்க வேண்டாம். சக உயிர் கால் இன்றி கஷ்டப்படுவதை யோசிக்கலாம். அதையே ஒரு லட்சம் தடவை ஒவ்வொரு உயிர்க்காகவும் யோசிக்கலாம். கண் பார்வை போய், கை இல்லாமல் ஊனமாக்குப்படுவதற்காகவாது குரலாவது கொடுக்கலாம். அதிகாரத்தில் இருப்பவரின் செவிப்பறையை எட்டலாம். விடுதலை கோரலாம்.

“Sri Lanka sits right in the middle of the international shipping route that connects resource-hungry Southeast Asia with the energy-rich Persian Gulf. Forty percent of the world’s oil supply traverses this path in the Indian Ocean. On Sri Lanka’s northeastern is the strategic port of Trincomalee, one of the deepest natural ports in the world. Now that the Sri Lankan military has recaptured the vital Jaffna peninsula, Trincomalee faces a much less severe threat from the Tigers’ naval wing, the Kadal Puli or Sea Tigers, which had the ability to hamper maritime trade along the island’s northeastern coast with India regularly.
Such a trading hub could rival the island of Singapore in economic might. Though Sri Lanka severely lags in political and social cohesion in comparison to Singapore, its larger size, strategic location and lower shipping costs could make it a true contender in the eastern trading sphere.

2 years and 5 months down the line since you wrote your 10 Top Reasons, much water has flown down the bridge, indeed much blood for the cause of Elam and I suppose it is time for you to add your current thoughts.
In Tamilnadu ofcourse there are so many well wishers who keep taliking about ALL the Leaders coming together to VOICE as One! When Prabhakaran himself worked systematically to eradicate like minded sympathisers, how are we to see the Elam? Ultimately he himself perished without achieving his GOAL.
